   Good stuff, but two minor disagreements: I have not heard that anybody expects or even hopes that the Pope will say sorry for thousands of years of abuse of children. People are concerned about the last 50 years, where incidentally the Pope could have seen what was happening.
   Also, I think he has expressed his disgust. But he has concentrated on the sinful action and not bothered much about the damage done.
   I have heard that about 1•5% of priests are doing this. Is this more than the proportion among men in general? Most child abuse takes place in the family, (fathers, uncles etc.).
   I guess that most of us young men have to hold ourselves back from unaccepted sexual behaviour, just as most of us would be tempted to pocket a large sum of money found on the street.
