According to the Sunday-FAZ, they “now also want our gold“. Mind you, the Frankfurter is considered a conservative paper with a reputation of integrity. Nobody would accuse them of being close to the Leftists or – even worse – the Pirate Party.
I find the headline exciting. For me, it is easy to imagine that now, at long last, the people of Germany are fed up.
Incidentally, I think it is just the logical next step. After everything has been privatized, we now have to use up our last valuables and sell them to private buyers. The indebted state is now finally open to plunder. Yet this is something that should not give us pause.
Consequently, my advice is that we all sit back on our sofa and watch what happens. Nothing will happen. It is all just virtual reality. There is no war and no bombardements. Nobody is shot and will die.
And even if banks and countries break down, it will probably only take a few months in our fast-moving times for everything to continue in good order again. Even several hundred years back, the healing process, for instance in the USA after a total banking collaps, took less than two years.
So here is my advice: lean back and relax. Enjoy the morbid delight of the downfall and work towards surviving, along with your friends.
