An Interview for the DOAG
During the big Nuremberg DOAG conference, Dietmar Neugebauer asked me for an interview on “leadership and management”. DOAG is the German Oracle User’s Association, or simply the German “Oracle-Community”.
Here is the text supplementing the video on the DOAG-Website:
InterFace managing director Roland Dürre thinks managers today are confronted with ever higher expectations. He tells DOAG managing director Dr. Dietmar Neugebauer what he thinks are the criteria for successful management. Among those criteria are ethics, civil courage and empathy. However, as opposed to the material values, such as profit, turnover and advantages, you cannot easily measure them.
