This is my attempt to pinch quota from the post “getting a kick out of it”. Besides, it is an afterthought on the article “Boredom Breeds Anxiety”, where I postulated that there is a huge danger in times of boredom for said boredom to become an extra-large anxiety cinema.
On this note, here are the 6 theses on thinking by the Italian philosopher and psychologist Guilio Cesare Giacobbe as stated in his book “How To Stop Your Brainfuck and Instead Enjoy Life”.
Thinking is basically a substitute for real activity.
An idea that ends in activity is not brainfuck.
An idea that does not end in activity is brainfuck.
In most of the cases, our thinking is nothing other than brainfuck.
Thoughts that cause misery are bad brainfuck.
Thinking about problems that do not really exist is the worst of all brainfucks.
In the preface to his book, the Italian author apologizes for his vulgar choice of words. As a reason, he gives the modern quota necessities, even where most respectable scientific results are presented.
There is nothing I would wish to add to the aforesaid.
